Tivdak is a tissue factor-directed antibody and microtubule inhibitor conjugate used to treat adult patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer with disease progression on or after chemotherapy.
Recommended Dosage: The recommended dose is 2 mg per kg (up to a maximum of 200 mg for patients ≥100 kg) administered as an intravenous infusion over 30 minutes every 3 weeks until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. This medicine is for intravenous infusion only. Do not administer tivdak injection as an intravenous push or bolus. Avoid mixing with, or administering as an infusion with, other medicinal products.
- Ocular adverse reactions emerged in patients with cervical cancer treated with Tisotumab vedotin-tftv across clinical trials. Refer patients to an eye care specialist for an ophthalmic exam including visual acuity and slit lamp exam, before each dose.
- Peripheral neuropathy occurred in patients with cervical cancer treated with tisotumab vedotin 40 mg. Assess patients for signs/symptoms of neuropathy, such as paresthesia, tingling or a burning sensation, muscle weakness, neuropathic pain, or dysesthesia.
- Hemorrhage occurred in patients with cervical cancer treated with tisotumab vedotin. Monitor patients for signs/symptoms of hemorrhage. For patients experiencing pulmonary or CNS hemorrhage, permanently discontinue therapy.
- Life-threatening, severe or fatal pneumonitis can emerge in patients treated with ADC containing vedotin including tivdak 40 mg injection. Monitor patients for pulmonary signs/symptoms indicative of pneumonitis. Symptoms may include dyspnea, hypoxia, cough, or interstitial infiltrates on radiologic exams.
- Depending on the mechanism of action and findings, Tivdak can be responsible for causing fetal harm if administered to a pregnant woman. Females of reproductive age should use effective contraception during therapy and for 2 months after the final dose.
