Enhertu is a HER2-directed antibody and topoisomerase inhibitor conjugate indicated for the treatment of:
- adult patients with unresectable or metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer
- adult patients with unresectable or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
- adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic HER2-positive gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma
- Monitor complete blood counts prior to initiation of enhertu 100 mg and prior to every dose, and as clinically indicated.
- Assess LVEF before initiating therapy with trastuzumab deruxtecan 100 mg and at regular intervals while on therapy as clinically indicated.
- Enhertu can cause fetal harm if used in pregnant women. Females of reproductive age should use effective contraception during treatment with enhertu 100 mg and for at least 7 months after the last dose.
- Due to the risk for serious adverse reactions in a breastfed child, advise women not to breastfeed during therapy with enhertu injection and for 7 months after the last dose.
