Vizimpro is a kinase inhibitor used for the first-line treatment of patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 19 deletion or exon 21 L858R substitution mutations. 

Recommended Dosage: The recommended dosage of vizimpro tablets is 45 mg taken orally once daily, until the disease is progressive or unacceptable toxicity occurs. It can be taken with or without meals. 

Take dosage at the same time every day. In case a dose of Vizimpro is vomited or missed, do not take an additional dose or make up a vomited/missed dose but continue with the very next scheduled dose.

• Severe and fatal ILD/pneumonitis may occur in those treated with dacomitinib. Monitor patients for ILD/pneumonitis. Withhold therapy and promptly investigate for ILD in those who present with worsening of respiratory symptoms which may be indicative of ILD. Permanently discontinue therapy in case ILD is confirmed. 
• Severe and fatal diarrhea may occur in those treated with Vizimpro 45 mg Tablets. Withhold therapy for Grade 2 or greater diarrhea until recovery to less than or equal to Grade 1 severity, then resume therapy at the same or a reduced dose on behalf of the severity of diarrhea. It is advisable to promptly initiate anti-diarrheal therapy for diarrhea.
• Rash and exfoliative skin reactions may occur in those treated with Dacomitinib. Withhold this therapy for persistent Grade-2 or any Grade 3/4 dermatologic side effects until recovery to less than or equal to Grade-1 severity, then resume therapy at the same or a decreased dose on behalf of the severity of the dermatologic side effect.
• Findings and its mechanism of action suggest that vizimpro 15 mg tablets treatment can cause fetal harm if administered to a pregnant woman. All the females of reproductive age should use apt contraception throughout the treatment and for at least 17 days after the last dose. 
• There is no data regarding the existence of dacomitinib or its metabolites in human milk or their effects on the breastfed infant or on milk production. Dur to the potential for serious side effects in breastfed infants from Dacomitinib, women should not breastfeed during treatment and for at least 17 days after the final dose.
