• Nourianz has been related to impulse control disorders such as binge eating, compulsive gambling, and hypersexuality. Patients should be monitored for signs of impulsive behavior, and any concerns should be discussed with a healthcare provider.
• Nourianz 40 mg or 20 mg may increase the risk of serotonin syndrome when used with certain medications that affect serotonin levels. Patients should let their healthcare provider know of all therapeutic drugs they are taking, including prescription, over-the-counter (OTC), and herbal supplements.
• Nourianz may increase blood pressure and heart rate, leading to cardiovascular effects. Patients with a history of hypertension or cardiovascular disease should be closely monitored while taking Nourianz, and appropriate precautions should be taken.
