For those who weigh 25 to less than 35 kg, the recommended dose is 1 gram each in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Those who weigh 35 kg or more should take 2 grams in the morning, 1 gram in the afternoon, and 1 gram in the evening. Each packet contains 1 gram of levacetylleucine.

If a scheduled dose is missed, skip it and take the very next scheduled dose. Avoid taking double doses to compensate for a missed one.

• The effects of levacetylleucine 1 gram during pregnancy are not well-studied. Use this drug only if required and prescribed by a healthcare professional. Discuss all the possible risks and benefits with your doctor before initiating treatment.

• Monitor more often for P-gp substrate-related side effects when used concomitantly with this medicinal product. Aqneursa inhibits P-gp. However, the clinical significance of this finding has not been completely characterized.
